元旦英文介绍

　　元旦，即世界多数国家通称的“新年”，是公历新一年的第一天。元，谓“首”;旦，谓“日”;“元旦”意即“首日”。“元旦”一词最早出现于《晋书》，但其含义已经沿用4000多年。

　　“Dan” indicates the sun has just above the horizon, “Yuan” means the beginning, initial. Therefore “Yuandan” is the beginning of a year, the first day of the year.

　　Although the meaning “the first day of the year” has never changed, but in Chinese history, the specific date of “New year’s day” has changed over dynasties. China decided to adopt the Gregorian calendar and called the 1st January as “Yuandan” in 1949. But actually among common people the “New year’s day” is “Chunjie”-“Spring Festival” .

　　“Dàn ”biǎoshì tàiyánɡ ɡānɡ chū dìpínɡxiàn zhījì，jí yí rì zhī shǐ;“Yuán ”shì

　　“旦” 表示 太阳 刚 出 地平线 之 际，即 一 日 之 始; “元” 是

　　kāishǐ、zuìchū de yìsī.Yīncǐ “Yuándàn ”jiù shì yì nián zhī shǐ 、yì nián de dì

　　开始、 最初 的 意思。因此 “元旦” 就 是 一 年 之 始、 一 年 的 第

　　Yì tiān.

　　Suīrán “Yuándàn ”biǎoshì yì nián zhī shǒu rì de yìsī cónɡwèi ɡǎibiàn，dàn zài

　　虽然 “元旦” 表示 一 年 之 首 日 的 意思 从未 改变， 但 在

　　Zhōnɡɡuó lìshǐ shɑnɡ，“Yuándàn ”de jùtǐ rìqī suí cháodài ɡēnɡtì ér bù tónɡ.Zài

　　中国 历史 上， “元旦” 的 具体 日期 随 朝代 更替 而 不 同。 在

　　yī jiǔ sì jiǔ nián Zhōnɡɡuó juédìnɡ cǎiyònɡ xīlì，chēnɡ yīyuè yīrì wéi

　　1 9 4 9 年 中国 决定 采用 西历，称 一月 一日 为

　　“Yuándàn”.Bùɡuo，shíjìshɑnɡ zài mínjiān “Xīnnián dì yì tiān”háishi“Chūnjié ”. “元旦”。 不过， 实际上 在 民间 “新年 第 一 天” 还是 “春节”。
